Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain relational and non-relational database systems.
• Optimize SQL queries, indexes, and database structures for high performance.
• Analyze and improve database internals and query engines.
• Monitor and tune database performance, ensuring scalability and reliability.
• Collaborate with application and backend teams to design data models aligned with system requirements.
• Develop and maintain backup, recovery, and high-availability strategies.
• Evaluate and integrate new database technologies and tools to enhance system performance.
• Mentor and guide team members on best practices in database design and optimization.

Requirements

• 4+ years with databases, SQL optimization, and query engine tuning.
• Strong background in software architecture design.
• Strong understanding of system security.
• In-depth knowledge of memory management and performance optimization.
• Experience designing distributed and scalable solutions, particularly in cloud environments.
• Proficiency in relational and non-relational databases.
• Ability to choose between different architectures and technologies.
• Expertise in managing CI/CD pipelines.
• Advanced level of English.
