Delivery Assurance Specialist

Tasks

• Monitor supplier delivery commitments and track critical parts and WIP status.
• Review supplier recovery plans and expedite delayed orders.
• Identify supplier capacity constraints and manufacturing bottlenecks.
• Conduct supplier assessments and drive performance improvement initiatives.
• Develop Supplier Improvement Plans (SIPs) and Quality Improvement Plans (QIPs).
• Lead root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Apply Lean, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Collaborate with Quality, Engineering, Procurement, and Manufacturing teams.
• Prepare supplier KPI reports and communicate delivery risks to leadership.
• Travel to supplier sites as required.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in supply chain, supplier development, or delivery assurance within aerospace/defense.
• Strong knowledge of ERP systems; SAP preferred.
• Experience in supplier assessments, capacity planning, and production readiness.
• Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma, root cause analysis, PFMEA, and Control Plans.
• Excellent communication, reporting, and stakeholder management skills.
• ITAR eligibility/compliance is mandatory; specific eligibility requirements will be verified during screening.
• Ability to travel to supplier locations as needed.
