CHANDAN S is hiring a dedicated Dental Assistant for a contract position in Rockwood, Tennessee. This role offers competitive pay at $18 per hour and involves supporting our dental team to deliver exceptional patient care in a welcoming environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist dentists during exams and procedures by preparing and providing necessary tools and materials.
• Manage clerical duties including appointment scheduling, patient records maintenance, and billing inquiries.
• Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment to ensure safety and cleanliness.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and provide postoperative care instructions.
• Greet patients warmly, take medical histories, and address patient questions or concerns.
• Collaborate with the dental team to maintain smooth patient flow and resolve procedural issues.
• Monitor dental supply inventory and assist with ordering materials as needed.

Required and Preferred Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Strong communication skills for effective patient and team interaction.
• Prior dental assistant experience preferred; motivated candidates with relevant training considered.
• Familiarity with dental software and tools is advantageous.
• Dental assisting certification or related credentials are a plus.
