Dental Assistant Contract Job in Rockwood, TN

CHANDAN S is seeking a dedicated Dental Assistant to join our dental practice in Rockwood, TN. This contract position offers competitive pay at $18 per hour. Our office is committed to delivering exceptional patient care in a friendly and professional environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist dentists during examinations and procedures by preparing and providing necessary instruments and materials.
• Manage routine clerical duties including appointment scheduling, patient record maintenance, and billing inquiries.
• Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment to ensure a safe and hygienic workspace.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and provide postoperative care instructions.
• Welcome patients by greeting them, taking medical histories, and addressing questions or concerns.
• Collaborate with the dental team to maintain efficient patient flow and resolve issues during procedures.
• Monitor dental supply inventory and assist with ordering materials as needed.

Required and Preferred Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with patients and team members.
• Prior dental assistant experience preferred; motivated candidates with relevant training will be considered.
• Familiarity with dental software and tools is a plus.
• Dental assisting certification or related credentials are advantageous.
