About the role
The Dental Hygienist is the chief preventive provider of Aurora Family Dentistry LLC. Under indirect supervision, this team member motivates and educates patients and provides excellent treatment.
Responsibilities
- Remove hard and soft deposits from teeth.
- Examine oral areas, head, and neck for signs of oral disease.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene and provide preventative dental care.
- Take and develop X-rays, or apply fluoride or sealants.
- Discover and document areas of periodontal and restorative failure to facilitate the dentist’s diagnosis and treatment recommendations.
