DENTAL RECEPTIONISTS

2 NORTH YORK SHERIDAN DENTAL CENTRE (NORTH YORK SHERIDAN MALL)

Established dental offices in Gta looking for outgoing, organized, and computer savvy Dental Receptionists. The successful applicants will also have strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Dental Assisting experience would be an asset.

RESPONSIBILITIES
• Greet and welcome patients as they arrive at the dental office
• Answer phone calls and schedule appointments for patients
• Verify insurance coverage and assist with insurance claims processing
• Maintain patient records and update necessary information in the system
• Collect payments from patients and provide receipts
• Coordinate with dental staff to ensure smooth patient flow
• Handle patient inquiries and provide accurate information about dental procedures and services
• Manage the front desk area and maintain a clean and organized reception area

SKILLS
• Previous experience as a dental receptionist or in a similar administrative role
• Knowledge of DENTAL terminology related to dental procedures and treatments
• Proficiency in operating phone systems and handling multiple lines
• Familiarity with dental software such as
PracticeMaster or equivalent
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to interact with patients, staff, and external parties
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of patient information
• Basic knowledge of general office procedures
