Job description

Regeneration Field Institute (RFI) and Building Carbon are seeking a collaborative and relationship-oriented professional to expand the funding and partnerships behind our work in regenerative agroforestry, farmer education, ecological restoration, sustainable construction, and bamboo research and development.This is more than a grant-writing position. We are looking for someone who can cultivate genuine relationships with funders, identify well-aligned opportunities, bring organizations together to develop compelling proposals, and coordinate professional reporting and impact measurement.Key ResponsibilitiesResearch funding and partnership opportunities in Ecuador and internationally.Cultivate relationships with foundations, development agencies, companies, universities, and other institutional partners.Coordinate proposals involving RFI, Building Carbon, and collaborating organizations.Manage collaborative proposal processes and define partner roles, deliverables, budgets, work plans, and indicators.Manage proposal, reporting, and compliance deadlines.Develop practical monitoring and evaluation systems with technical teams.Transform technical and field information into strong reports and funder communications.Represent RFI and Building Carbon in meetings, events, and partnership discussions.We Are Looking for Someone WhoCommunicates and writes professionally in both English and Spanish.Has relevant experience in institutional development, grant writing, fundraising, partnerships, international development, or project management.Is an excellent networker and relationship builder.Can facilitate collaboration among multiple organizations.Has experience with donor reporting and monitoring and evaluation.Is organized, proactive, dependable, and motivated by environmental and social impact.Is legally authorized to work in Ecuador.Experience related to agroforestry, agriculture, cacao, climate action, ecological restoration, rural development, education, bamboo, biomaterials, or sustainable construction is especially valuable.
