Job description
Join a high-performing global engineering team as a Senior DevSecOps Engineer in Monterrey, Nuevo León, Mexico. In this hybrid role, you will help advance enterprise cloud platforms by strengthening cloud security, improving infrastructure reliability, and integrating security throughout the software development lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and manage automated CI/CD pipelines to improve development and deployment workflows.
- Build and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) with Terraform to support consistent, reliable cloud environments.
- Monitor and secure cloud environments using industry best practices and security tools.
- Partner with software development, operations, and security teams to embed security into the development lifecycle.
- Troubleshoot and support cloud services, containers, and infrastructure management.
- Stay current with cloud security technologies and methodologies, and contribute practical improvements.
- Mentor junior engineers and share guidance on DevSecOps practices and tools.
Required and Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- At least 3 years of DevSecOps experience, preferably in enterprise environments.
- Strong cloud platform experience; Azure is preferred, and AWS experience is valuable.
- Hands-on experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code.
- Proficiency with CI/CD tools such as Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or Jenkins.
- Experience with containers and orchestration, including Kubernetes, AKS or EKS, Docker, or serverless technologies.
- Solid programming and scripting skills.
