Job description
Fry-Wagner is hiring an experienced diesel truck mechanic for its private fleet in Earth City, Missouri. This full-time, on-site role is suited to a journeyman mechanic with experience diagnosing and repairing heavy-duty trucks, diesel engines, and trailers. Starting pay is $35.00 per hour, with higher pay possible based on experience.
Schedule and benefits
- Schedule: Monday through Friday, day shift; a four-day, 10-hour schedule may be possible

What you’ll work on
- Diagnose and repair semi trucks, heavy-duty vehicles, and trailers
- Service Cummins and International trucks and engines
- Work with equipment from Peterbilt, Kenworth, Freightliner, Hino, Chevrolet, Ford, Isuzu, Mack, and Sterling
- Repair trailers and components from manufacturers including Great Dane, Utility, Stoughton, and Vanguard
- Perform heavy truck repair, bodywork, fiberglass work, and fabrication as needed
Qualifications
- Journeyman-level diesel or truck mechanic experience
- Experience with Cummins and International equipment is especially relevant
- CDL is helpful but not required
Fry-Wagner is a family-owned transportation company with more than 114 years of history. Full-time and potentially part-time opportunities may be available. Compensation is based on experience, with a stated starting rate of $35.00 per hour.
