We are seeking a seasoned Director of Sales to lead and expand a high-performing sales team of over 30 professionals. Key Responsibilities Lead and develop a sales organization of 30+ sales and support staff to achieve aggressive revenue and profitability targets. Own sales forecasting, pipeline management, and KPI performance to ensure predictable and scalable growth. Drive compliance with sales processes, including training initiatives and performance management to optimize team effectiveness. Collaborate closely with operations, finance, and marketing teams to align demand planning and execute go-to-market strategies. Provide actionable market insights and competitive intelligence to inform leadership decisions and strategic planning. Implement best practices in sales tools such as HubSpot and Microsoft Excel to enhance forecasting accuracy and reporting. Champion a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth within the sales team. Manage relationships with key clients and industry partners to support business expansion. What We're Looking For Required: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field; MBA preferred. 10–15+ years of progressive sales leadership experience managing large teams (30+ staff). Proven track record of driving profitable sales revenue growth in the construction equipment or skid loader industry (7–10 years recent experience). Strong expertise in sales forecasting, pipeline predictability, and KPI management. 5–10+ years of recent experience using HubSpot and Microsoft Excel; familiarity with NetSuite and Global Shop is a plus. Excellent leadership, communication, and strategic planning skills. Preferred: MBA or advanced degree demonstrating business acumen and leadership development. Experience working with private equity-backed companies and involvement in company-wide strategy. Knowledge of local market dynamics in Alexandria, MN, and surrounding regions.
