Job description
Join Neyas Carpenter as a Domiciliary / Community Care Assistant in Leeds, West Yorkshire! We are seeking compassionate, reliable individuals passionate about providing high-quality in-home care to support clients' independence and well-being. Key Responsibilities
- Deliver personal care including bathing, dressing, and meal assistance tailored to individual client needs.
- Ensure client safety and comfort by adhering to care plans and promptly reporting any health or condition changes.
- Offer companionship and emotional support to enhance clients’ quality of life.
- Maintain accurate care records and communicate effectively with the care team and leadership.
- Assist with medication management and encourage compliance with prescribed treatments.
- Conduct regular client assessments to ensure care needs are met appropriately.
- Participate in team meetings and ongoing training to improve service quality.
Required and Preferred Qualifications
- Care Certificate or equivalent health and social care qualification.
- Demonstrated compassion, empathy, and strong interpersonal skills.
- Valid driving license and access to a vehicle for client visits across Leeds and surrounding areas.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Previous caregiving experience preferred but not essential.
As part of Neyas Carpenter’s dedicated care team, you will report to the Care Team Leader and collaborate closely with support staff to deliver exceptional domiciliary care services.
Compensation: £1300 per hour
