About the role
Villageflowerhill is looking for a dependable, hardworking individual to join its Department of Public Works.
Responsibilities
- Perform road and drainage maintenance, landscaping, building and grounds maintenance, snow removal, and other DPW duties.
- Work Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:00 PM, with overtime for weather-related and other emergencies.
Requirements
- A valid NYS driver's license is required.
- A CDL is preferred, but is not required at the time of hire. The Village will assist with CDL training, and the CDL must be obtained within six months.
- Ability to perform physical outdoor work in all weather conditions and lift 50 lbs.
- Employment is subject to a satisfactory driving record and required pre-employment screening.
