Job description
Taeghan Dalrymple is hiring a reliable and hardworking Drywall Installer to join our construction team in Halifax, Nova Scotia. This full-time role involves measuring, cutting, positioning, and securing drywall panels on both residential and commercial job sites. The ideal candidate has drywall installation experience, understands construction safety, and works efficiently independently or as part of a crew.
Key Responsibilities
- Measure and cut drywall panels to fit walls and ceilings accurately
- Install drywall sheets using hand and power tools
- Secure drywall panels to metal or wooden framing
- Patch, trim, and prepare drywall surfaces for finishing
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Adhere to all workplace safety procedures and regulations
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and other tradespeople
Qualifications
- Previous drywall hanging or construction experience preferred
- Ability to lift heavy materials and perform physical labor
- Familiarity with drywall tools and equipment
- Basic knowledge of construction methods and safety standards
