Dynamics Finance Operations Functional Analyst ConsultantImplementation

Position Overview:The Dynamics 365 F&O Business Systems Analyst is responsible for supporting business applications, system operations, and process improvement initiatives across the organization. This role will provide functional support for Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (D365 F&O), ensuring effective system performance, timely resolution of user issues, and alignment between business processes and technology solutions.
This position combines business analysis, application support, user enablement, and project involvement. The ideal candidate is a mid-to-senior level professional with strong Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O experience, particularly across Supply Chain, Logistics, Trade, and Finance processes, who can collaborate with business stakeholders, end users, developers, and third-party partners to deliver effective solutions. The role will support approximately 50 end users, manage production support activities, participate in system enhancements, testing initiatives, documentation, training, and continuous improvement efforts.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:Provide daily functional support for Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (D365 F&O).Manage and resolve user support requests, incidents, and application-related issues through ticketing processes.Troubleshoot system issues and collaborate with developers and external partners for resolution.Support production environments while ensuring system stability and business continuity.Partner with business users to understand requirements, identify process gaps, and recommend improvements.Conduct requirements gathering, fit-gap analysis, and support solution design activities.Support implementation projects, system enhancements, upgrades, and process optimization initiatives.Perform testing activities, including functional testing and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).Create and maintain system documentation, process documentation, and user guides.Provide training and guidance to end users to maximize system adoption and effectiveness.Support Dynamics 365 F&O modules related to Supply Chain, Logistics, Trade, and Finance processes.Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Finance, Operations, Supply Chain, and IT.Coordinate with third-party vendors and partners to support application improvements and issue resolution.Monitor system performance, support SLA compliance, and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.Support Microsoft Power Platform and reporting initiatives when required.
Requirements:Minimum Requirements:Advanced proficiency in English.Valid passport and visa to travel to the United States for in-person training.Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field.4+ years of experience supporting Microsoft Dynamics AX / Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations.Strong functional knowledge of Dynamics 365 F&O business processes.Experience supporting Supply Chain, Logistics, Trade, and basic Finance modules.Experience providing application support to end users.Experience troubleshooting incidents and managing support tickets.Experience with business analysis activities, including requirements gathering and process improvement.Experience supporting testing activities, implementations, upgrades, or system enhancements.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Ability to communicate effectively with technical teams and business stakeholders.Experience creating documentation, user guides, and training materials.Strong understanding of ERP systems and business processes.Preferred Qualifications:Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement (CRM).Experience with Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate).Experience with Power BI and reporting solutions.Previous experience in manufacturing, logistics, distribution, supply chain, or international trade environments.Experience working with third-party implementation partners.Experience supporting multinational organizations and regional teams.Knowledge of ERP best practices and process optimization methodologies.Key Skills and Competencies:Strong business analysis and critical thinking skills.Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.Ability to translate business needs into system solutions.Customer-service mindset when supporting end users.Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.Ability to work independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams.Detail-oriented with strong documentation skills.Proactive mindset focused on continuous improvement.
