Ecuador Shrimp Business Development Manager Local Recruitment-Ecuador

1. Position Overview The position is responsible for developing Ecuadorian shrimp supply chain resources, establishing long-term partnerships with local shrimp farms, processing plants, and exporters, and supporting the expansion of Ecuador shrimp exports into the Chinese market. The role will also support OIG’s cooperation models with suppliers, including supply chain financing, DDP import solutions, strategic supplier partnerships, and other supply chain cooperation opportunities.Pure Business Development Role: Your sole mission is to leverage your local network to promote our supply chain financing, DDP import solutions into mainstream local channels. We have professional documentation, logistics, and after-sales support teams who will flawlessly execute every order you close. Your network and sales skills convert directly into high commissions, with zero need to handle operational details.
2. Core RequirementsSolid experience in the Ecuador shrimp industry, with strong knowledge of local shrimp farms, processing plants, and exporters;Strong independent business development capability, able to identify and develop new suppliers and business partners;Knowledge of China import regulations, customs requirements, and market trends is preferred;Existing relationships with Ecuadorian shrimp processors, exporters, or major seafood companies are highly preferred. 3. Qualification Requirements 1). Industry Experience (Required) Minimum 5-10 years of experience in shrimp, aquaculture, seafood processing, or seafood export industries; Strong understanding of the Ecuador shrimp supply chain; Knowledge of major shrimp processors, exporters, and industry stakeholders. 2). Business Development Capability (Required)Proven ability to independently develop suppliers and business opportunities;Ability to proactively identify opportunities and drive cooperation;Candidates with only operational or order-following experience are not preferred.3). Industry Resources (Preferred) Candidates with the following resources will be prioritized: Ecuador shrimp processing plant contacts;Shrimp exporter relationships;Aquaculture company resources;China market export experience;Seafood industry association connections. 4). Language RequirementsSpanish and English proficiency for business communication;Chinese language ability is preferred but not mandatory.5). Preferred Background Candidates from the following companies, organizations or government are preferred:Ecuador or International shrimp processing/exporting/trading companies;Ecuador agro/shrimp association or institution;Related agent/service company (shipping, logistic...).
