Electrical Test Engineer (Product Tester)

About the role

Product Development and Engineering team.

Tasks

• Develop and execute design verification and characterization test plans.
• Perform bench-level testing at IC and PCBA levels.
• Validate ECU electronics against module-level requirements.
• Use oscilloscopes, power supplies, electronic loads, and digital multimeters.
• Analyze test results and perform root-cause analysis.
• Collaborate with hardware, design, and firmware development teams.
• Prepare test coverage and Design for Testability (DFT) reports.
• Develop basic Python scripts for test automation.
• Support firmware flashing, testing, and troubleshooting.

Requirements

• 5–7 years of Electrical/Electronics Testing and Validation.
• Strong Electrical Engineering fundamentals.
• Hands-on experience with oscilloscopes, DMMs, power supplies, and electronic loads.
• Electronics characterization and hardware validation.
• Knowledge of automotive electrical systems and communication buses.
• ECU, PCBA, or IC-level testing experience.
• Preferred: Python scripting and automation.
• Preferred: C programming and low-level firmware.
• Preferred: CAN/LIN communication protocols.
• Preferred: Databricks or similar data analysis tools.
• Preferred: Product development experience.
