Electronics Validation Engineer

About the role

Support the design verification and characterization of vehicle electronics, particularly Zonal and Battery ECUs.

Tasks

• Develop and execute ECU design verification and characterization test plans.
• Perform bench-level testing at IC and PCBA levels.
• Use laboratory instruments such as oscilloscopes, power supplies, electronic loads, and digital multimeters.
• Develop Python scripts to automate testing and analyze test data.
• Work with firmware and software teams to troubleshoot issues.
• Analyze test failures and lead root-cause investigations.
• Prepare test coverage reports and Design for Testability (DFT) reports.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to meet project milestones.

Requirements

• 6–10+ years of experience in electronics characterization and validation.
• BS/MS in Electrical Engineering or a related field
• Strong Electrical Engineering fundamentals
• Hands-on experience with laboratory test equipment.
• Knowledge of vehicle electrical systems and communication buses.
• Python scripting and data analysis experience.
• Experience with ECU validation is highly desirable.
