Job description
A leading Elavtor is hiring a full-time Elevator Installation Technician in Akola, Maharashtra, India. This on-site role is suited to candidates with an ITI in Electrical or Wireman and hands-on experience installing elevator systems. You will help deliver safe, reliable elevator installations and support the performance of systems throughout their service life.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair elevator systems in accordance with applicable safety requirements and standards.
- Inspect elevator equipment, identify faults, and make adjustments to support safe and efficient operation.
- Coordinate with project managers on installation schedules and project requirements.
- Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues and complete appropriate repairs.
- Document installation work, inspections, and maintenance checks for quality assurance.
- Guide junior technicians on safe work practices and installation procedures.
- Coordinate with building contractors and engineers to integrate elevator systems into structures.
Required Qualifications
- ITI qualification in Electrical or Wireman.
- Strong electrical knowledge and practical experience with elevator installation.
- Ideally, at least 2 years of experience in a similar elevator systems role.
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with elevator systems and modern building codes.
- Electrical safety certifications are an advantage.
