Job description
Aroha Technologies Inc is hiring a full-time Embedded Software Engineer in Phoenix, Arizona. Join a growing technology company developing embedded systems for multiple industries. In this on-site role, you will design, build, and test software that supports product performance and reliability while collaborating with a dedicated engineering team.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, test, and maintain embedded software using C and C++.
- Design and implement device drivers for hardware components.
- Partner with hardware engineers to integrate firmware and software.
- Optimize Linux kernel and Windows driver frameworks to meet project requirements.
- Use real-time operating systems (RTOS) to support responsive, efficient systems.
- Debug and troubleshoot embedded systems with appropriate tools and techniques.
- Document software designs and development processes for reference and compliance.
Required and Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, electrical engineering, or a related field.
- Proficiency in C/C++ and experience developing embedded systems.
- Familiarity with the Linux kernel and Windows driver frameworks.
- Experience developing device drivers and working with RTOS.
- Knowledge of debugging tools and techniques for identifying and resolving software issues.
- At least 3 years of relevant embedded software engineering experience.
Work Environment
Collaborate and share knowledge with a dedicated engineering team. This full-time position is based in Phoenix, Arizona and is not remote. You will report to the Senior Engineering Manager.
