Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN) – Panama City, FL

Arijita Ghosh is seeking a compassionate, skilled Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN) for a full-time, on-site position in Panama City, Florida. In this fast-paced emergency department role, you will help deliver high-quality care to patients during critical moments and collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform triage assessments and prioritize patients’ care needs.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed and in accordance with established protocols.
• Monitor vital signs, recognize changes in patient condition, and respond promptly to emergencies.
• Work with physicians, specialists, and nursing colleagues to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Explain treatment plans and procedures to patients and families, including post-discharge care instructions.
• Document care accurately in electronic health records (EHR) and follow applicable healthcare regulations.
• Participate in emergency preparedness drills and ongoing professional education.

Required and Preferred Qualifications

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
• Current Florida Registered Nurse (RN) license required.
• One to three years of clinical experience in emergency nursing; emergency department or critical care experience preferred.
• Strong triage skills and the ability to work effectively under pressure.
• Familiarity with electronic health record systems.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred.
