EMT

Requirements

• MA EMT Certification
• CPR Certification
• Valid Drivers License
• Unattested Driving Record
• CPR Basic Rescuer Certification
• Carry more than 20 lbs. of equipment while walking, climbing and descending stairs, or traversing difficult terrain.
• Carry an adult patient, with a partner, up or down stairs or over difficult terrain.
• Stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl to access a patient.
• Perform CPR for extended periods of time.
• Lift an adult patient and the wheelcot into an ambulance, with a partner.
• Perform other strenuous activities as required.
• The residency requirement for this position has been temporarily suspended.
• If you currently, or have previously held certification or licensure as an EMT in another state or jurisdiction, you must complete a verification of certification.

Pay

• Starting pay: $36/hour
• $1,441.13 per week ($36 per hour)
