Role Description The Enfermera en consultorio medico is a full-time, on-site role based in the Mexico City Metropolitan Area. This role is responsible for receiving and preparing patients for consultation, recording vital signs, documenting medical histories, and assisting the physician during examinations and minor procedures. Daily tasks include administering medications as indicated, performing basic nursing interventions, managing appointment flow, and supporting patient education regarding treatments, prescriptions, and follow-up care. The nurse also maintains the cleanliness and readiness of the consultation room, handles clinical supplies, supports basic administrative tasks related to patient records, and adheres strictly to infection prevention and safety protocols.
Qualifications
Completed nursing education (technical, professional, or equivalent) and current valid nursing license or certification as required in Mexico.Experience in outpatient or clinic settings, ideally in general medicine or family practice.Strong skills in taking vital signs, administering medications, assisting with minor procedures, and providing basic patient care.Knowledge of medical terminology, documentation practices, and maintaining accurate patient records.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to interact respectfully with diverse patients and collaborate with the medical team.Ability to work full-time on-site, manage multiple tasks, and remain calm and organized in a busy consultation environment.Commitment to confidentiality, professional ethics, and compliance with clinical and safety protocols.Basic computer skills for handling electronic records or scheduling systems; familiarity with Spanish-language clinical documentation is required.Previous experience in the Mexico City Metropolitan Area or similar urban healthcare environment is an advantage.
