Tempe Lock & Key is hiring an Entry-Level Locksmith for a contract position in Tempe, Arizona. No prior locksmith experience is required: comprehensive training is provided at no cost. Build practical trade skills in a supportive, collaborative environment while helping residential and commercial customers protect their properties.

Responsibilities

• Install and repair locks and duplicate keys for residential and commercial customers.
• Help customers resolve lock-related issues with clear communication and effective problem-solving.
• Keep locksmith tools and supplies organized and maintain inventory.
• Learn and follow locksmithing best practices and safety standards.
• Document service requests and completed work accurately.
• Collaborate with team members and participate in ongoing training and professional development.

Required Qualifications

• Valid driver's license and reliable personal vehicle.
• Own trade tools or have the means to purchase the tools required.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
• Excellent customer service and problem-solving skills.
• Reliability, professionalism, and the ability to work independently and with a team.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous locksmith experience is a plus, but not required.

Compensation and Schedule

• Pay: $65,000 per year.
