S Jobs Sender is seeking an Environmental Health & Safety Intern in Phoenix, Arizona. This internship offers hands-on experience supporting workplace safety, regulatory compliance, and environmental sustainability initiatives. The role is remote eligible and pays $25 per hour.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with safety inspections and risk assessments to support compliance with local and federal regulations.
- Help develop and deliver employee safety training programs.
- Participate in safety meetings and contribute to procedures and documentation.
- Research environmental policies and recommend sustainability improvements.
- Collect and analyze accident and incident data, identify trends, and suggest improvements.
- Support project management and teamwork for ongoing safety initiatives.
- Maintain safety program records and compliance documentation.
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Safety, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of safety protocols, communication, and problem-solving.
- Teamwork experience and the ability to conduct thorough research.
- Related internship experience is a plus, but not required.
Mentorship and Work Environment
