ETL/Data Warehouse Test Engineer

Tasks

• Execute ETL and data warehouse testing to ensure data accuracy and completeness.
• Develop and execute complex SQL queries for data validation.
• Validate data transformations and source-to-target mappings.
• Identify, document, and troubleshoot data discrepancies.
• Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and QA teams.
• Support Agile delivery processes and defect management.

Requirements

• 13+ Years
• ETL / Data Warehouse Testing: 9+ years of relevant experience.
• Advanced SQL: Strong expertise in Joins, Subqueries, CTEs, Stored Procedures, Views, Window Functions, and Performance Tuning Concepts.
• ETL Tools: Hands-on experience with at least one of the following: SSIS, Informatica, DataStage, Talend, or Ab Initio.
• Database Testing: Experience with at least one database: SQL Server, Oracle, DB2, or Teradata.
• Data Migration Testing: Experience validating data migration processes and source-to-target data mapping.
• Data Quality Testing & Reconciliation: Strong experience in data validation, data integrity, and reconciliation.
• Agile/Scrum: Experience working in Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Defect Tracking Tools: Familiarity with Rally, Jira, or Azure DevOps.
