Discount AC & Refrigeration is hiring an Experienced Commercial HVAC and Refrigeration Technician for a full-time, on-site position in Mesa, Arizona. Join an established HVAC service team supporting a diverse range of commercial clients in a collaborative, safety-conscious environment. This role offers an annual salary of $80,000.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair commercial HVAC systems and refrigeration equipment in accordance with industry standards.
- Diagnose equipment issues and troubleshoot HVAC and refrigeration systems to restore reliable operation.
- Communicate with customers, understand their service needs, and provide professional customer service.
- Complete routine maintenance and follow applicable safety requirements.
- Coordinate with fellow technicians on project timelines and service schedules.
- Accurately document service calls, inspections, and repairs in company software.
- Keep current with HVAC and refrigeration technologies, industry practices, and service standards.
Required and Preferred Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED.
- Hands-on experience with HVAC and refrigeration systems; at least 3 years of field experience is recommended.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
- Knowledge of HVAC industry safety practices and compliance.
- Relevant HVAC or refrigeration certifications are preferred.
Team and Work Environment
You will report to the HVAC Service Manager and work closely with other technicians to coordinate service delivery. Discount AC & Refrigeration values collaboration, customer care, and safe work practices.
