COLINA rooftop lounge is hiring an Experienced Italian Cuisine Chef in Kingston, Jamaica. Join a collaborative culinary team at a mid-sized restaurant known for its warm atmosphere and quality offerings. In this full-time, on-site role, you will create authentic Italian dishes and help deliver a memorable guest experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and prepare a menu of traditional Italian dishes, including pasta, risotto, sauces, and pizza.
• Oversee kitchen operations and maintain high standards for food quality, presentation, hygiene, and safety.
• Work with the kitchen team to prepare daily specials and seasonal menus.
• Manage food inventory and order supplies to support efficient kitchen operations.
• Train and mentor junior kitchen staff in Italian cooking techniques and standards.
• Develop recipes and refine menu items using guest feedback and seasonal trends.
• Coordinate with management to support a seamless dining experience.

Required Qualifications

• Culinary Arts diploma or equivalent qualification.
• Three to five years of chef experience, specifically in Italian cuisine.
• Strong skills in pasta, risotto, sauces, and pizza preparation.
• Kitchen management experience, including staff supervision and inventory control.
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen while maintaining quality and consistency.
