Job description
Seeking an Experienced Tax Accountant to join our team in Encino, California. This full-time position requires expertise in individual, corporate, trust, and state tax preparation along with strong accounting skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare individual, corporate, trust, and state tax returns accurately and timely.
- Utilize Lacerta Software professionally for tax preparation.
- Manage full accounting functions including QuickBooks, payroll, and monthly financial reporting.
- Complete month-end and year-end closing of income statements and balance sheets.
- Reconcile accounts and perform general ledger analysis promptly.
- Deliver clear and effective presentations and reports.
Qualifications:
- Minimum five years of accounting experience.
- Proficient with QuickBooks, payroll systems, Lacerta Software, Excel, and Microsoft Word.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong technology, analytics, and management capabilities.
- Ability to meet critical business deadlines consistently.
- Outstanding interpersonal skills and presentation abilities.
Education & Certification:
- BA/BS degree in Accounting.
- IRS Federal Licensed Tax Practitioner (EA).
- CPA certification preferred.
