Job description
Seeking an experienced Tax Accountant for a full-time, on-site role in Encino, California. The successful candidate will prepare individual, corporate, trust, and state tax returns and support accounting operations, reporting, and month-end and year-end close.
Responsibilities
- Prepare individual, corporate, trust, and state tax returns.
- Manage QuickBooks, payroll, and monthly reporting.
- Complete month-end and year-end close for income statements and balance sheets.
- Reconcile accounts and perform timely general ledger analysis.
- Meet critical business deadlines and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
Qualifications
- At least five years of accounting experience.
- Professional experience with Lacerta Software.
- Strong working knowledge of QuickBooks, payroll, and monthly reporting.
- Excellent Excel and Microsoft Word skills, with strong technology, analytical, and management capabilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
- Ability to manage deadlines and deliver accurate work.
Education and credentials
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
- IRS Enrolled Agent (EA) credential.
- CPA preferred.
