Export Control Inspector – Panama, Panama

CBM 360 TIV is hiring six experienced Export Control Inspectors for mineral supply chain projects in Panama and internationally. This full-time, on-site role supports mineral inspections, shipment verification, sampling, quality control, and export compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect mineral shipments and compare cargo with export documentation.
• Verify quantities, weights, and scale readings.
• Collect mineral samples and maintain chain-of-custody records.
• Check mineral quality, grades, and laboratory results.
• Review export permits, invoices, certificates, and shipping documents.
• Verify security seals on trucks and containers and confirm shipment details.
• Monitor loading, dispatch, and export operations.
• Identify quantity discrepancies, under-declaration, cargo substitution, and documentation irregularities.
• Prepare detailed inspection, incident, and exception reports.

Requirements

• Five to ten years of relevant experience in the mining or minerals industry.
• Experience with mineral inspection, quantity and weight verification, sampling, and export controls.
• Knowledge of mineral quality checks, shipping documentation, and chain-of-custody procedures.
• Spanish language proficiency.
• Ability to work on-site in Panama and support international project assignments.
• Strong attention to detail, integrity, and reporting skills.
