Fabricator/Welder

Tasks

• Interpret verbal instructions and work orders
• Fabricate custom components with or without drawings
• Operate shear, brake, and rolls (asset)
• Perform MIG, stick welding, carbon arc gouging, and TIG (assets)
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
• Work independently and collaborate with team members as needed

Requirements

• Experienced with a strong background in a repair or jobber shop environment
• Millwright or mechanical experience is an asset
• Red Seal certification is not required
• Proven experience in a jobber or repair shop environment
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
• Physically fit and able to lift 50+ lbs
• Valid drivers license and reliable transportation
