Facilities and Maintenance Engineer

QUALIFICATIONS:
• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Must be a Certified Plant Mechanic (CPM) or Registered Mechanical Engineer (RME)
• At least 2-3 years of relevant experience in facilities management, manufacturing plant maintenance, utilities operations, or industrial plant maintenance
• Knowledgeable in preventive and corrective maintenance of production equipment, plant machinery, building facilities, and utility systems
• Familiar with HVAC systems, compressed air systems, pumps, fire protection systems, plumbing systems, and other mechanical utilities
• Knowledgeable in plant utility operations, equipment reliability, and maintenance planning and scheduling
• Knowledgeable in PEZA regulations, facility compliance requirements, permit management, and coordination with government agencies is an advantage
• Well-versed in occupational safety and health standards, environmental regulations, and facility compliance requirements
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, technical specifications, equipment manuals, and engineering plans
• Experience in supervising service providers is an advantage
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills related to mechanical equipment and utility systems
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and maintenance management systems
• Possess excellent communication, coordination, and interpersonal skills
• Capable of managing multiple priorities while meeting deadlines
• Willing to render support during emergency maintenance situations, equipment breakdowns, and plant facility concerns
