Factory Production Operative

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Component Preparation
- Sanding, filing, masking, and preparing timber doors and frames for laminating or painting.
Product Assembly
- Putting together doorsets, installing in components, hinges, locks, handles, and ensuring proper alignment.
Machinery Operation
- Feeding raw materials into specialized factory machinery like edge banders, laminating presses, or timber mill cutters.
Finishing & Spraying
- Applying state-of-the-art spray finishes, lacquers, stains, or tints to meet custom client order specifications.
Quality Control
- Inspecting finished goods carefully to spot and reject any defects before packaging.
Packing & Dispatch
- Labelling, protecting, and safely packing completed door units so they are secure for transit.

REQUIREMENTS
- Experience in a production role and working with wood beneficial.

PAY & HOURS
- £12.7ph raising to £14.00ph for the right person
- Permanent
- Monday to Thursday 07.00 till 16.30
- Friday 07.00 - 13.00
