Family Law Litigation Attorney

We are seeking a dedicated Family Law Litigation Attorney to join our team in Clarksburg, West Virginia. Key Responsibilities Manage and prepare family law cases, including divorce, child custody, and support hearings. Conduct thorough legal research and draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and discovery requests. Represent clients in court hearings and provide effective advocacy during litigation proceedings. Negotiate settlements and advise clients on favorable outcomes throughout the litigation process. Maintain comprehensive case files and ensure compliance with all legal and ethical obligations. Engage in client consultations, offering legal advice and strategies tailored to individual cases. Collaborate with fellow attorneys and legal staff to strategize and implement case approaches. Required and Preferred Qualifications Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school. Strong litigation skills with experience in family law cases. Active attorney license in West Virginia. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Proficiency in legal research tools and case management software. A minimum of 2-5 years of experience in family law litigation preferred.
