Farm Equipment Mechanic

Tasks

• Examine equipment to locate and diagnose malfunctions.
• Dismantle defective machines for repair.
• Repair or replace defective parts.
• Reassemble machines and equipment following repair, testing operation and making adjustments, as necessary.
• Clean and lubricate parts.
• Test and replace electrical components.
• Tune or overhaul engines.
• Adjust equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Test mechanical equipment to ensure proper functioning.
• This job is spent primarily in the shop & other related Farm Equipment Mechanic activities as per SOC/OES 49-3041.

Requirements

• Visa required: H-2A
• Must be 18 years of age.
• Worker has 3 days from date of hire to show proof of legal au

Schedule

• From Dec 1, 2026 to Feb 28, 2027
• Possible weekend/holiday work.

Pay

• $19.88 per hour
• The employer may choose to pay experienced workers, regardless of origin, more than the published minimum wage rate See attached Addendum C.
