Farm Equipment Mechanic

Tasks

• The pre-season maintenance tasks will be done to machinery during the months when farming duties have halted and the machinery is not in use.
• List of equipment: Case 9250 Combine, Case 9240 Combine, Humdingers, Rollers, Power Units (Multiple), Disk, Planters, 8 Case Tractors, John Deere Tractors Multiple, John Deere Spray Rig, Pumps and Trailers, Boom Truck, Pickups Servicing and light mechanic work, 4 Semi Trucks.
• All the machines and equipment will go through a thorough inspection, service, and repair process.
• Each machine will have a manufacturer's annual maintenance procedure that needs to be followed to ensure proper operation of the equipment during the work season.
• This seasonal post-harvest work process will include the disassembly and reassembly of major components for replacement of bearings, lubricants, filters, parts, worn components, surfacing and welding of cracks.
