Farm Equipment Mechanic

Tasks

• Perform winter farm maintenance work.
• Fix and repair farm structures.
• Clean/maintain combine headers including all crop, draper, flex, corn and stripper headers.
• Blowing the headers of, pressure washing, greasing/checking components/belts to prepare for the next harvest season.
• Clean/maintain combines/tractors/semis including all harvest and farm equipment.
• Blowing off all combines, replacing shields, pressure washing, cleaning interiors, washing windows, greasing/checking components/belts to prepare for the next harvest season.
• Clean/maintain service trucks used throughout the summer/fall harvest season.
• Blowing off the trucks, pressure washing, cleaning interiors, washing windows, checking tires/oil levels and restoring the service truck tool boxes to harvest ready condition by checking inventories of tools/supplies, getting them

Requirements

• Visa required: H-2A

• $26.50 per hour
