Farm Equipment Mechanic

Tasks

• The pre-season maintenance tasks will be done to machinery during the months when farming duties have halted and the machinery is not in use.
• List of equipment: 8 Tractor Trailer trucks, 8 Grain Trailers for trailer trucks, 2 Gravel trailers for trailer trucks, John Deere 8310 track tractor, John Deere 9430- tractor, John Deere 4730 sprayer, Ford F450. Two sets of dirt pans with laser equipment, 3 grain augers, Brandt grain vac, John Deere excavator.
• All the machines and equipment will go through a thorough inspection, service, and repair process.
• Each machine will have a manufacturer's annual maintenance procedure that needs to be followed to ensure proper operation of the equipment during the work season.
• This seasonal post-harvest work process will include the disassembly and reassembly of major components for replacement of bearings, lubricants, filters, parts, worn components, surfa
