Farm Equipment Mechanic

Tasks

• Grain cleaning and snow removal.
• Maintain, repair, and overhaul farm machinery and vehicles, such as tractors, harvesters, and irrigation systems.
• Clean and lubricate parts.
• Repair or replace defective parts, using hand tools.
• Adjust equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Record details of repairs made and parts used.
• This job is spent primarily in the shop.
• Shop must be kept clean and well maintained at all times.
• Test mechanical equipment to ensure proper functioning & other related Farm Equipment Mechanic activities as per SOC/OES 49-3041.

Requirements

• Visa required: H-2A
• Must be 18 years of age.
• Worker has 3 days from date of hire to show proof of legal authorization to work in the Unite

Schedule

• From Dec 15, 2026 to Feb 14, 2027
• Possible weekend/holiday work.

Pay

• $24.09 per hour
• The employer may choose to pay experienced workers, regardless of origin, more than the published minimum wage rate.
