Farm Equipment Mechanic

Tasks

• Maintain, repair, and overhaul farm machinery and vehicles, such as tractors, harvesters, and irrigation systems.
• Dismantle defective machines for repair, using hand tools.
• Clean and lubricate parts.
• Repair or replace defective parts, using hand tools, welding equipment, grinders, or saws.
• Tune or overhaul engines.
• Drive trucks to haul tools and equipment for on-site repair of large machinery & other related Farm Equipment Mechanic activities as per SOC/OES 49-3041.

Requirements

• Visa required: H-2A
• Must be 18 years of age.
• Worker has 3 days from date of hire to show proof of legal authorization to work in the United States.
• Drug/alcohol/tobacco free work zone.
• Static strength; exert max muscle

Schedule

• From Dec 15, 2026 to Mar 15, 2027
• Possible weekend/holiday work.

Pay

• $24.09 per hour
• The employer may choose to pay experienced workers, regardless of origin, more than the published minimum wage rate.
