Farm Ranch and Animal Worker

Tasks

• Inspect, maintain, and repair equipment and machinery only used in winter months for snow removal and feeding animals, and heated section of barn so that equipment is operational during coldest weather.
• Cleaning snow off of cattle feeding grounds.
• Clearing snow from yards and barn.
• Monitor water levels and stock tank heaters to ensure heated water troughs are functioning.
• Removing ice from water.
• Chopping ice in dams.
• Examining animals to detect weather related injuries.
• Moving animals for protection from winter weather.

Requirements

• Visa required: H-2A
• Minimum of three (3) month's of experience required.
• Must be able to obtain a driver's license within 30-60 days of hire.

Schedule

• From Dec 1, 2026 to Apr 1, 2027

Pay

• $19.25 per hour
