Tasks

• Precondition and maintain cattle: Monitor birthing of baby calves, hay all cattle, haul water to cattle, mix feed, monitor health, vaccinate, rotate cattle between pastures.
• Operate feed truck/pay loader.
• Clean pens.
• Manure hauling.
• May haul cattle to market.
• Feeding cattle with mixer wagon, fencing, grinding hay/corn, mechanic work, machinery maintenance, moving cattle to different grazing areas.
• Other related Farmworker activities as per SOC/OES 45-2093.

Requirements

• Visa required: H-2A
• Must be 18 years of age.
• Worker has 3 days from date of hire to show proof of legal authorization to work in the United States.
• Drug/alcohol/tobacco free work zone.

Schedule

• From Dec 15, 2026 to Mar 31, 2027
• 1 hour meal break.
• Possible weekend/holiday work.

Pay

• $13.19 per hour
• The employer may choose to pay experienced workers, regardless of origin, more than the published minimum wage rate.
