Farmworker

Tasks

• Attend to cattle.
• Duties may include bedding, feeding, watering, herding, grazing, branding, catching and loading cattle.
• Scraping and hauling manure and hauling feed.
• Inspect, maintain feeding and manure equipment, repair livestock facilities, buildings, pens, yards and fences.
• May maintain records on cattle; examine cattle to detect diseases or injuries; assist in calving; administer medications, vaccinations or insecticides as appropriate & other related Farmworker activities as per SOC/OES 45-2093.

Requirements

• Visa required: H-2A
• Must be 18 years of age.
• Worker has 3 days from date of hire to show proof of legal authorization to work in the United States.
• Drug/alcohol/tobacco free work zon

Schedule

• From Dec 2, 2026 to Feb 28, 2027
• 1 hour meal break.
• Possible weekend/holiday work.

Pay

• $11.88 per hour
• The employer may choose to pay experienced workers, regardless of origin, more than the published minimum wage rate.
