Farmworker

Tasks

• Clear land, prepare the land for planting of trees; Privet, Maples, Dogwood, Arborvitae.
• Start of the season they will be preparing the land for planting, as to clearing the land, setting up the irrigation, digging, cultivating, composting deer fencing, snow removal, make firewood and maintain property.
• The workers will also be maintaining the property and equipment/trucks and tractors.

Requirements

• Visa required: H-2A
• A drug test and background check will be done post hire at employers expense.
• The results of the background check or drug test will not automatically reject U.S. workers.

Schedule

• From Dec 2, 2026 to Oct 1, 2027
• Possible additional hours 0-20 hr wk, hours vary per wk.
• Work on Saturday and Sunday when necessary.

Pay

• $18.83 per hour
• Hours worked over 52 will be paid as $28..25 O/T hr.
• Discretionary bonus may be given at employers discretion.
