Farmworker (Crop)

Tasks

• Workers will sort apples according to size, color and grade before packing; line boxes, cartons or crates with treated paper or cardboard; place apples in containers for storage or shipment; weigh, stamp, brand and date of packing on container, and pack apples according to the quality and method of the employer.
• Workers will process Cider apples.
• Workers load apples into the cider press. The press processes the apples and extracts the juice.
• Workers will also perform general orchard tasks, including apple tree pruning, setting, and removing hail netting, and apple bin repair.

Requirements

• Visa required: H-2A
• Work requires long periods of standing and bending and kneeling.
• Workers must be able to lift and carry up to 80 pounds.
• Workers must also be willing to work in varied weather conditions.

Schedule

• From Dec 15, 2026 to Feb 15, 2027
• Workers must be available to work Monday through Saturday.

Pay

• $18.75 per hour
