Farmworker

Tasks

• Attend to cattle.
• Feeding, watering, loading, and transporting cattle.
• Check on herd daily, sometimes multiple times per day during the cold winter months.
• Check water, haul feed and hay.
• May maintain records on cattle; examine cattle to detect diseases or injuries; assist in calving and weaning; administer medications, vaccinations, or insecticides as appropriate.
• Maintain and repair cattle equipment, pens, yards, and fences.
• Monitor health and wellbeing of the cattle.
• Other related Farmworker activities as per SOC/OES 45-2093.

Requirements

• Visa required: H-2A
• Must be 18 years of age.
• Worker has 3 days from date of hire to show proof of legal authoriz

Schedule

• From Dec 1, 2026 to Mar 15, 2027
• 60 minute meal break
• Possible weekend/holiday work.

Pay

• $16.24 per hour
• The employer may choose to pay experienced workers, regardless of origin, more than the published minimum wage rate.
