Farmworker

Tasks

• operating farm equipment, tractor driving, field preparation, water maintenance, manual shovel work, hoe weeds, spot spraying, repair and maintain buildings, equipment, farm, and fences; maintain fields, levees, roads, shop; load and unload trucks
• crawfishing in boats, catching crawfish, performing crawfishing duties in fields; manually cutting up of fish bait, bait and check traps; grade and wash crawfish for shipment, make and repair traps as needed

Requirements

• Visa required: H-2A
• Job involves frequent stooping; exposure to extreme temperature
• must be able to lift 50 lbs
• 1 month experience in similar occupation
• random drug screening upon hire (paid for by employer)

Schedule

• Temporary seasonal workers
