Farmworker, Farm and Ranch Animals

Tasks

• Attend to cattle and horses.
• Bedding, feeding, watering, herding, grazing, branding, catching, and loading cattle.
• Scraping and hauling manure; hauling feed.
• Inspect/maintain feeding and cattle equipment.
• Maintain/repair/clean livestock facilities, buildings, pens, yards, and fences.
• May maintain records on cattle; examine cattle to detect diseases or injuries; assist in calving; administer medications vaccinations or insecticides as & other related Farmworker, Farm and Ranch Animals activities as per SOC/OES 45-2093.

Requirements

• Visa required: H-2A
• Must be 18 years of age.
• Worker has 3 days from date of hire to show proof of legal authorization to work in the United States

Schedule

• From Dec 15, 2026 to Mar 15, 2027
• Possible weekend/holiday work.

Pay

• $12.56 per hour
• The employer may choose to pay experienced workers, regardless of origin, more than the published minimum wage rate.
