Tasks

• Care of livestock.
• Feeding, checking water tanks, observing cattle for sickness, treating sick animals.
• Branding calves.
• Calving -observing for signs of labor and assisting laboring cows.
• Fencing maintenance.
• Hauling hay.
• Other related Farmworker, Farm & Ranch Animal activities as per SOC/OES 45-2093.

Requirements

• Visa required: H-2A
• Must be 18 years of age.
• Worker has 3 days from date of hire to show proof of legal authorization to work in the United States.
• Drug/alcohol/tobacco free work zone.
• All applicants must be able, willing and qualified to perform work described and must be available for the entire period specified and work throughout all areas of intended employme

Schedule

• From Dec 15, 2026 to Apr 1, 2027
• Possible weekend/holiday work.
• 1 hour meal break

Pay

• $13.19 per hour
• The employer may choose to pay experienced workers, regardless of origin, more than the published minimum wage rate.
