Job description
Tasks
- Attend to cattle.
- Precondition and maintain cattle: Monitor birthing of baby calves, hay all cattle, haul water to cattle, mix feed, monitor health, vaccinate, rotate cattle between pastures.
- Operate feed truck/pay loader.
- Clean pens.
- Maintain/ repair fence and corrals.
- Manure hauling. May haul cattle to market.
- Herding, catching, and loading.
- Maintain administrative records & other related Farmworker, Livestock activities as per SOC/OES 45-2093.
Requirements
- Visa required: H-2A
- Must be 18 years of age.
- Worker has 3 days from date of hire to show proof of legal authorization to work in the United States.
Schedule
- From Dec 1, 2026 to Apr 1, 2027
- 1 hour meal break.
- Possible weekend/holiday work.
Pay
- $11.88 per hour
- The employer may choose to pay experienced workers, regardless of origin, more than the published minimum wage rate.
