Job description
Tasks
- Assist with the complete clean-out and annual maintenance of chicken houses.
- Complete removal of old litter.
- Repairing and maintaining feed and water lines, feed hoppers and any electrical or structural concerns.
- Assist with re-bedding the chicken houses with fresh shavings.
- May operate various farm equipment (tractors, farm trucks, etc.) & other related Farmworker, Livestock activities as per SOC/OES 45-2093.
Requirements
- Visa required: H-2A
- Must be 18 years of age.
- Worker has 3 days from date of hire to show proof of legal authorization to work in the United States.
Schedule
- From Dec 1, 2026 to Mar 15, 2027
- 1 hour meal break.
- Possible weekend/holiday work.
Pay
- $12.84 per hour
- The employer may choose to pay experienced workers, regardless of origin, more than the published minimum wage rate.
