Tasks

• Inspect, sort, grade, clean, and store harvested grain.
• Monitor stored grain for moisture, temperature, insects, spoilage, odors, damage, and other changes in condition.
• Collect grain samples and assist with testing for moisture, test weight, foreign material, damage, quality, grade, and GMO presence.
• Operate farm-provided grain testing equipment and record test results.
• Identify grain lots and report grain quality problems or other changes in condition to the farm manager.
• Handle and condition stored grain as needed, including drying, cooling, aerating, turning, blending, screening, and cleaning.
• Maintain separation of organic, conventional, transitional, and identity-preserved grain lots to prevent mixing or contamination.
• Check crop type, variety, quality, lot identification, and storage location before handling or moving grain.
• Measure and record grain inventory, bin levels, temperature, moisture
